Car Hire

To make the most of a holiday here a hire car is strongly recommended. There are now many car hire companies in Portugal making prices very competitive and affordable. Almost all are listed on the internet and vehicles can be booked online.

Other Transport

If you do not wish to drive then Vale da Cegonha can be reached from Faro or Lisbon by train. The nearest station is 5 Km away from where we can arrange for you to be collected.

There is a local and national bus service that serves Ourique and an inexpensive local taxi service.
